“Your body exists in the past and your mind exists in the future. In yoga, they come together in the present.” – B.K.S Iyengar.

Chelsy began practicing yoga in 2013. When she became pregnant in 2015 her love for yoga deepened and she began practicing Vinyasa style Yoga. Loving the way the asanas and flowing sequences helped her growing achy body, Chelsy gained strength and built confidence in her mind body connection.  The movements in the postures, the breath work, and meditation made such a profound impact on her. Giving birth to her daughter at home enabled her to bring all of these things off the mat into real life, making it the most beautiful experience.
Out of this came a passion to help other moms and women on there journey into motherhood. A passion to help them become confident and comfortable in there bodies and to bring a sense of peace and happiness in a time that, can be, at times overwhelming.

In 2016 she was looking for a mommy/baby class to attend while on vacation visiting family. She found a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training with Peter Sterios (Founder of Levity Yoga and Manduka), his wife Tawney Sterios and James Baily who focused on Ayurveda, subtle anatomy and yoga psychology.
Over the intense 6 month course, her love for yoga and passion to share her practice blossomed.

When Chelsy started teaching and could see the numerous unfolding benefits in her students the passion grew.  Sharing her practice, taking her student through pranayama, gentle asanas, and meditation truly lit a fire in her heart to help those who could benefit from this style of practice.

Trying to help others adopt there own yoga practice to relieve physical and psychological tension, unite the mind/body/soul to find happiness, and to build confidence and lightness of heart…this is what her practice is all about.

May you be at peace.
May your heart remain open.
May you awaken to the light of your own nature.
May you be healed.
May you be a source of healing for all beings.
Namaste.
