Yoga Fundamentals

Welcoming series designed to introduce basic yogic principles.  This series is developed for those new to yoga or students who would like to refresh some of the more commonly practiced pranayama (breath) and asana (postures). Students learn to explore self-assessment and self-reflection without self-judgment, students also learn how to safely get in and out of commonly practiced postures, as well as proper alignment.
Series is limited to 6 participants so all students will receive some one-on-one instruction in each posture covered, with room for any questions and discussion regarding limitations. Students will also be provided with a chosen book to help with visuals for alignment as well as some general philosophy. Instructors teaching this series are both certified, and share 25+ years teaching experience.
